Task 3: Raise funds for a cause close to your heart.
Mental health.
In African, mental health is neglected. Many suffer in silence and sometimes commit the irreparable. Moral support for all is a cause that is particularly close to my heart. Indeed, I lost a very close and dear being 2 years ago. I don’t want to move the knife in the wound. This remains a sensitive subject for me.
“Hold up” is a sharing and moral support group that brings together students from different faculties of the University of Antananarivo.
We meet once a week to talk to each other, discuss about our lives, experiences, the things that disturb us, things that make us happy, and things we dare not say. Basically we meet to support each other physically and emotionally.
I am one of the leaders of this group. I use my story, my experiences and my influence to help everyone and it’s reciprocal because everyone shares something.
I raised some funds to support this group: the money will remain in the group’s pocket to be used in case of emergency or a case of necessity for one or more members of the group. For example: we have members who live far away or who have financial problems with their studies or travel expenses. This fund will help. Kindly watch the full video on YouTube:

I just want to encourage everyone to externalize their emotions.
Even if we don’t know each other, if you need to discuss, don’t hesitate. I may not have the solution to your concerns, but I will lend you my ears. And I will not make any judgment on your words.
